INTRODUCING THE PUSH COLLECTIVE

The Push Collective is a community of female and non-binary identifying musicians who are dedicated to restructuring the way music is born. We share our skills, our knowledge, and our resources to provide sustainable development to ourselves and one another. We answer the question of what it takes to find success in our music careers by examining our inner truths and helping one another rediscover their own. We work hard to genuinely invest in one another’s progress, acting as dedicated creative midwives to our shared passion.

Once a month, we meet as a collective to connect, commune, and create together. We also hold an ongoing series of Incubators in which each artist has an opportunity to benefit from the collective hive mind and thoroughly delve into their own specific project. We learn from each other, encourage each other, provide for each other, and without straining, push each other towards exactly what we truly want.

MIWA GEMINI

It’s hard to describe the music of Miwa Gemini.  Much like the name suggests their sound is mercurial, drawing influences that range from Erik Satie to Beyoncé.  Their songs are soaked in an old whiskey barrel, dried off a balcony in Paris, then polished by the hustle and bustle of NYC.  Their unique blend of watertight harmony is accompanied by a simple yet intricate instrumentation, and their infectious melodies will have you smiling in no time.
